Stephen A. Martin is a skilled attorney with more than 25 years of legal experience, representing clients in a variety of general practice areas, including the areas of civil litigation, real estate law, business law, municipal law and estate planning.

Mr. Martin is the owner and founding member of The Law Office of Stephen A. Martin. Prior to starting his own firm, he was a partner at Barklage, Brett, Martin, Wibbenmeyer & Hamill, P.C., served as County Counselor for St. Charles County and prior to that, County Counselor for Clay County. Additionally, he has worked as a Law Clerk for Judge Martin of the Jackson County Circuit Court and a Law Clerk for Judge Turnage on the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Western District.

Mr. Martin is a graduate of University of Missouri's School of Law in Kansas City, Missouri. While attending law school, he was a Moot Court Team Alternate, a Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board and Editor of Martin's Reviews. Mr. Martin was a fraternity member of Phi Delta Phi.

Prior to law school, Mr. Martin earned his Bachelors of Arts with Honors in English Literature from the University of Missouri at Columbia. Accomplishments during this period include: Dean's List, English Honors Program, Chairperson of I.R.H.A. Governor's Congress, Pershing Group Council Chairperson and House Community Board Juror.
